Project FRESH air

FRESH air (Fordham Regional Environmental Sensor for Healthy air) is a citizen science course that aims to educate local communities about climate change and air quality by placing monitors in local schools and helping develop curricula around the data: faculty, students, K-12 educators, and K-12 students would collaborate together on data collection, analysis, and interpretation as well as curriculum development. The goal is to engage the students from the Bronx as well as Fordham to generate air quality data and empower the community to effect positive change politically, socially, and by other means.
